Terry Allen, Fire Chief (retired), is the former Chief of the City of Cambridge, Ontario. During his thirty six year fire service career, Terry served on national committees that developed fire safety codes and standards, collaborated with industry leaders, and affected change that improved safety and professional standards including: The Past Chair of the NFPA Fire Service Section; he was a member 1710 Technical Committee for the Organization and Deployment of Career Fire Departments; and Management Chair of the Ontario Ministry of Labour Section 21 Fire Fighter Health and Safety Advisory Committee. Terry has been recognized for his contributions to the fire service by the Ontario Fire Marshal Office For Excellence In Fire Safety, Career Chief of the Year, Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, and A.J. Stone Award, Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs.

Since joining Pomax, Terry has applied his expertise to projects involving fire service master planning, operational analysis, fire prevention and public education, health and safety in the fire service, emergency planning, and fire service leadership, risk analysis, mutual and automatic aid agreements.
